Tips To Being Photographed Beautifully

After 30 years photographing people, I would like to offer my expertise to make sure you put your best face and stance forward for a great photo.

Tip #1 - Make sure your outfit is not transparent when photographed with a flash. You would be surprised what that flash can do. Best thing to do is to at least get a quick snap with your cell phone camera. This way you can avoid surprises.

And yes, we have had to photoshop some outfits that were quite revealing!

Tip #2 - Love your outfit or choose another. If you do not love your outfit you will not have the confidence in your smile.

Tip #3 - Pointed shoes add to the length of the leg. That includes men too!

* Margo Schwab, MBA, more formally known as Margaret E. Schwab, has produced, written, interviewed and photographed for various media organizations since 1989. Schwab attended Holton Arms School, La Jolla Country Day School and La Jolla High School. Schwab has a B.A. from Scripps College, spent a business internship with S.A.I.C., Science Applications International Corporation, and earned a Masters of Business degree, M.B.A., from the University of San Diego by way of Claremont Graduate School . Schwab additionally took college courses from Harvard University, and Syracuse University. Schwab volunteers for numerous charity organizations. She also continues to support animal organizations and the prevention of people and animal abuse. Schwab is the editor and co-owner of The Social Diary.
